Punjab University’s graduate vote ends, Senate and Syndicate structure replaced by Centre

The Central Government has amended the Punjab University Act, 1947, removing registered graduate votes and restructuring the Senate and Syndicate. The changes introduce a capped Ordinary Fellows structure and a revised Syndicate composition, with immediate effect.
