108-year-old ‘Pi Buangi’ declared as oldest Mizo
Mizoram's Social Welfare Minister, Lalrinpuii, officially recognized Lalneihsangi, fondly called 'Pi Buangi,' as the oldest Mizo resident after departmental verification. The centenarian, who turned 108 this year, was felicitated at a special event. 'Pi Buangi' dedicated many years to social rehabilitation, notably at the Behala Girls’ Home in Kolkata, aiding distressed women and orphaned children.
