6 arrested with 50kg ganja in Ganjam
In Ganjam district, excise department officials arrested six individuals transporting 50 kg of ganja from Kandhamal to Bhubaneswar, seizing vehicles and mobile phones worth Rs 30 lakh. Authorities are investigating their involvement in prior smuggling cases. Separately, joint raids destroyed illegal liquor dens, confiscating molasses and adulterated liquor valued at Rs 15 lakh.
