A nine-month-old baby girl was found abandoned on the Alappuzha Chennai Express. Railway Protection Force personnel rescued the infant upon the train's arrival at Chennai Central. The baby appeared healthy and was handed over to the Child Help Desk for care. Efforts are underway to locate the parents and understand the circumstances.
