BPF chief says his party will join NDA if UPPL is dropped

Bodoland Peoples' Front (BPF) chief Hagrama Mohilary said the party will join the BJP-led NDA only if the United Peoples Party-Liberal (UPPL) is dropped from the coalition. BPF, which won 28 of 40 BTC seats in the September 22 elections, can form the council government independently. Mohilary is set to be sworn in as Chief Executive Member, while BJPs inclusion depends on UPPLs exit.
