Chandigarh police attend over 5 lakhs emergency calls through ERSS over 6 years
Chandigarh's Emergency Response Support System (ERSS) 112 has handled over 17.64 lakh calls and attended 5.86 lakh spots in six years since its 2019 launch. Merging various helplines, it receives 1,100-1,300 daily calls. Chandigarh Police consistently ranks first nationally for its rapid 3-5 minute PCR response time.
