Amit Khare, a retired IAS officer of the 1985 batch, has been appointed as the secretary to the new Vice-President, C P Radhakrishnan, for a three-year term. Khare previously served as an advisor to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and played a key role in formulating the National Education Policy 2020.
