Odisha is set to implement 'Disha', a uniform curriculum for its 35 special schools catering to children with intellectual disabilities, starting from the academic year 2026-27. The state government has requested NIEPID to train teachers on this multisensory curriculum, designed to enhance academics, life skills, and vocational abilities for children aged three to 18.
