India-Russia bear hug is another Trump self-goal
Though India and Russia had strong ties, New Delhi was trying to balance that as relations with the US were on the upswing. However, Donald Trump's tariff bazooka might see India's Russia hug get tighter. Russian President Putin is set to visit New Delhi later this year. Trump has, ironically, driven India towards Russia like the US did with its arms embargo in the mid-60s.
