The Winter Paralympics will celebrate its 50th anniversary in Milan-Cortina from March 6 to March 15. More than 600 athletes from around the world are expected to compete in six sports. The opening ceremony will take place at the historic Arena di Verona, a UNESCO World Heritage site, specially upgraded with wheelchair ramps, accessible toilets and added safety features.
