Fourteen children died in Madhya Pradesh after consuming Coldrif cough syrup, found contaminated with poisonous diethylene glycol. Police arrested Dr. Praveen Soni, who prescribed the syrup, for negligence, and also charged the Tamil Nadu-based manufacturer, Sresan Pharmaceuticals.
