Noted Gandhian & freedom fighter Padmacharan Nayak turns 100
Padmacharan Nayak, a 100-year-old Gandhian and freedom fighter from Kendrapada, celebrated his centenary on Thursday. Having lived through significant historical events, Nayak, a former MLA and social worker, expressed hope in the youth. He fondly recalled hearing Mahatma Gandhi speak in Cuttack in 1946.
