Omar Abdullah's NC, BJP join hands in J&K House to vote out PDP's 'anti-bulldozer' land bill
Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullahs National Conference (NC) and the BJP on Tuesday joined hands in the assembly to block the PDPs proposed “anti-bulldozer bill,” which sought to grant ownership rights to residents occupying state land for over 20 years. Before the vote, Omar argued that the bill would “legitimise illegal constructions on state land” and could not be justified.
