Over 15 lakh taxpayers have filed revised returns for AY 2025-26, with over 21 lakh updating their returns this fiscal and paying Rs 2,500 crore. The deadline for revised returns is December 31, after which updated ITRs will be required. The I-T department is also issuing advisories for wrongful deductions.
