Oxford adds 12 Caribbean words, including 'Bobolee' and 'pholourie'

The Oxford English Dictionary has embraced Caribbean culture by adding 12 new words, including the lengthy "carry-go-bring-come," dating back to 1825, which refers to gossip or a gossiper. Culinary terms like "cou-cou," a dish of okra, butter, and cornmeal, and "pholourie," an Indo-Caribbean dish of fried flour balls, have also been included.
