Pak attack foiled in Uri sector: Soldier killed, but Army officials dismiss reports of BAT action
An Indian Army soldier was killed while foiling an infiltration attempt by Pakistani terrorist near the LoC in Uri, Baramulla, during the night of August 12–13. Officials said that BAT team was not involved in the attack after reports emerged.
