Provisional sub inspector arrested for accepting bribe
A Provisional Sub Inspector, Ajay Kumar, posted at Bahadurpur police station in Patna, was caught red-handed accepting a bribe of Rs 7,000. He demanded the money from Vikram Jyoti to remove his name from a case. Following his arrest by the SVU, a case was registered against him under the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988.
