Sivasagar cops nab Myanmar-trained Ulfa-I militant
In a significant operation, Sivasagar police captured a self-proclaimed sergeant major of the Ulfa-I militant group, known as Biren Chetia, also called Rontu Asom, in the Dhyanpathar village. During the arrest, officers seized a Beretta handgun, rounds of ammunition, and hand grenades.
