A monocled cobra, impaled by a fish-catching thorn in its neck, was rescued from an Ujuni village pond. Veterinarians at OUAT Veterinary College successfully removed the 3cm thorn in a challenging surgery, revealed by X-ray to be dangerously close to its fang.
