Vikas Sheel appointed as Chhattisgarh’s 13th chief secretary
Vkas Sheel, a 1994-batch IAS officer, is the new Chief Secretary of Chhattisgarh. He will succeed Amitabh Jain on September 30, 2025. Sheel is currently serving as an advisor at the Asian Development Bank. He previously served as Collector of Raipur and Bilaspur. He also held key positions in central government, including the Jal Jeevan Mission.
