The counting of votes for the 2025 Bihar Assembly Elections is going on. The initial trends show NDA is leading the tally. According to latest reports, the NDA is leading with 162 seats, the Mahagathbandhan in 77 seats and the Jan Suraj Party is leading in 1 seat. While Jan Suraj, led by Prashant Kishor, may get a few seats, according to the trends, it may fail to make a substantial foray into Bihar electoral politics. Others are keading in 13 seats. According to India Today, voting trends at 10.25 am showed the NDA leading in 162 seats and the Mahagathbandhan in 77. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) also crossed the 50-mark, leading in 72 seats. The JDU is also leading in 72 seats. LJP is leading in 14 seats, while other parties in the NDA are leading in 4. The RJD and Congress, major parties of the Mahagathbandhan, are leading in 58 and 13 seats respectively, as per NDTV. The OpIndia team is analysing the results in real time.
