30 lakh beneficiaries of TMC govt's direct cash transfer scheme for women ineligible: Suvendu Adhikari
West Bengal's Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari has unveiled the 'Annapurna Bhandar' initiative, set to take over from the previous 'Lakshmir Bhandar' program. This revamped financial support scheme will now target eligible women, providing them with a monthly sum of Rs 3,000. Notably, around 30 lakh beneficiaries from the old program were deemed ineligible.
