Chief minister Mohan Charan Majhi revealed that approximately 498 acres of government land in Bhubaneswar have been encroached upon, with Jaydev Vihar topping the list at 148 acres. To address this, a central enforcement monitoring committee has been formed, and the government is filing cases under the Odisha Public Premises Act to remove unauthorised occupants.
