The French government has criticized Telegram founder Pavel Durov for accusing French intelligence of trying to censor Moldovan voices. In a lengthy Twitter post, Durov claimed that a French agency, through an intermediary, asked him to censor certain Telegram channels ahead of Moldova's presidential elections. He said he refused the "unacceptable" request. France's foreign ministry responded on Twitter, stating that Durov had made similar accusations about France in Romania earlier this year.
