The BJP's winning streak in Assam's Bodoland has ended, as the party secured only five seats in the recent Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) polls. The Bodoland Peoples' Front (BPF) made a strong comeback, winning 28 of the 40 seats. Despite contesting separately, Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma declared the BPF's victory as an NDA win.
