Minister for Higher Education M.C. Sudhakar said on Saturday that Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has allowed the recruitment of up to 2,000 assistant professors to colleges under the Departments of Collegiate and Technical Education and the teachers will be appointed against the vacancies based on the need in those colleges.
