The Congress emerged as the leading party in Kerala's 2025 local body elections, securing the highest vote share at 29.17%. The CPI(M) followed with 27.16%, while the BJP garnered 14.76%. The Congress-led UDF also gained control of four out of six municipal corporations and seven district panchayats.
