Design Summit at DPU Focuses on Typography and Industry Exposure

The School of Design at Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth hosted D’KODE Summit 2026 on March 23–24, bringing designers, academicians, industry experts, and students together. Focused on typography, the event featured keynotes by D. Udaya Kumar, Sarang Kulkarni, Dr. Chaitanya Gokhale, and Prof. Michael V. Testani. Themes included “Big Type, Bold Voice” and “When Letters Perform,” alongside workshops on calligraphy, lettering, and cross-script design. Students gained practical exposure, bridging academic learning with industry practices and fostering creative experimentation.
