Karnataka govt promotes 2 IPS officers of 1995 batch to DGP rank
Karnataka government elevated two IPS officers from the 1995 batch to the Director General of Police rank. Umesh Kumar, ADGP of KSRP, is now DGP (recruitment). Arun Chakravarthy J, ADGP of the Police Housing Corporation, also gets promoted. However, some senior officers, including ex-Bengaluru police commissioners, were not considered.
