Kerala polls: IUML leader Bava Haji booked for promising foreign trip to booth workers to secure votes
An FIR has been filed against IUML leader Bava Haji for allegedly promising a foreign trip to booth committee members in Thavanur constituency during election campaigning. The offer of a 15-day UAE trip to the highest-polling UDF booth committee was deemed a violation of the Model Code of Conduct by the Election Commission. Police are investigating and will question Haji.
