Land encroachment case: FIR registered in Elamkulam village after vigilance enquiry
The Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau (VACB) has filed an FIR against a former Elamkulam village officer, Sajesh KG, and a private individual, Kesardev Kejerival, for allegedly encroaching on Poramboke land in Kanayannur Taluk. The FIR was registered following a complaint by activist Cheshire Tarzan, who alleged a land mafia was forging land deeds with the knowledge of revenue officials.
