Maruti Suzuki uses railways to move three million vehicles: Reasons explained
The Manesar railway siding, inaugurated in 2025 by Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, is currently India’s largest automobile in-plant railway siding. Combined, the two facilities can dispatch up to 7.5 lakh vehicles annually and connect more than 600 cities through 22 logistics hubs.
