Neelam Meena appointed new Bengal chief poll officer
Senior IAS officer Neelam Meena has been appointed the new Chief Electoral Officer of West Bengal. She takes over from Manoj Kumar Agarwal, who was recently elevated to Chief Secretary. The Election Commission officially communicated Meena's appointment to the state government. Meena, a 1998 batch IAS officer, will not hold any additional state government charges.
