UPSC extends CSE 2026 deadline after portal issues — check application dates & details
The Union Public Service Commission has extended the application deadline for Civil Services Examination 2026 and Indian Forest Service Examination 2026 until February 27, 2026, 6 pm, after technical issues affected the online portal due to heavy traffic. The recruitment will fill 933 vacancies through Preliminary, Main and interview stages. Eligibility requires a bachelor’s degree and age between 21 and 32 years. Serving IAS, IPS and IFS officers cannot reapply unless they resign.
