VCK president Thol Thirumavalavan is one politician who has mastered the balancing act of taking on the DMK govt on ideological issues while asserting his commitment to the secular front. In an interview to TOI’s Shanmughasundaram J, the VCK chief disagreed with the DMK govt for setting up a commission to draft guidelines for a separate law on caste killings instead of enacting the legislature directly.
