West Bengal cabinet expansion: BJP MLAs Shankar Ghosh, Swapan Dasgupta among 35 sworn into CM Suvendu Adhi
West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari's government expanded significantly on Monday. Thirty-five new ministers took their oath, bringing the total Council of Ministers to 41 members. Governor R.N. Ravi administered the oaths at Nabanna. This expansion follows the initial swearing-in of Adhikari and five other BJP MLAs on May 9. The state assembly allows for a maximum of 44 ministers.
