EC may roll out SIR in remaining 22 states, Union territories post this month's assembly polls
The Election Commission plans to conduct the final phase of voter list revision across 22 states and Union Territories. This exercise will commence after the ongoing assembly elections conclude. So far, 60 crore voters have been covered in previous clean-up drives. The upcoming phase will cover the remaining 39 crore electors.
